We had a superb lunch at the Largs Pier Hotel today to celebrate John Porter's visit to Adelaide. Thirteen people made it to the lunch and it is a credit to Bill Marston who phoned every body and stirred us up with his usual enthusiasm. The weather was perfect and we had a great time remembering our time at Largs Bay Primary School.
The highlight of the day was an entertaining 20-minute talk by John Porter in which he recounted life after Largs Bay Primary. He has lived and worked in many places in country SA and NSW. John is a great storyteller! And he is now living in luxurious retirement in beautiful Tweed Heads.
The 12 attached photos show us all having a great time.
